I know, but the song welches an international chart hit, while the original Arsenio Hall Show may not have been aired hinein a lot of international markets.

As I always do I came to my favourite forum to find out the meaning of "dig in the dancing queen" and I found this thread:

Ich muss Leute aufgabeln, mit denen ich chillen kann. I need to find people to chill with. Quelle: Tatoeba

French Apr 10, 2015 #15 Thank you for your advice Perpend. my sentence (even though I don't truly understand the meaning here) is "I like exploring new areas. Things I never imagined I'kreisdurchmesser take any interset in. Things that make you go hmmm."

Southern Russia Russian Oct 31, 2011 #16 Would you say it's safe to always use "lesson" rein modern BE? For example, is it üblich rein Beryllium to say "hinein a lesson" instead of "in class" and "after the lessons" instead of "after classes"?

"Go" is sometimes used for "do" or "say" when followed by a direct imitation/impersonation of someone doing or saying it. It's especially used for physical gestures or sounds that aren't words, because those rule out the use of the verb "say".

Now, what is "digging" supposed to mean here? As a transitive verb, "to dig" seems to have basically the following three colloquial meanings:

Künstlerinnen zumal Könner experimentieren mit innovative Technologien ebenso verursachen so einzigartige Klanglandschaften, die die Zuhörer rein ihren Bann ziehen zumal sie auf eine akustische Ausflug mitnehmen.

Actually, they keep using these two words just like this all the time. In one and the same Songtext they use "at a lesson" and "rein class" and my students are quite confused about it.

There are other verbs which can Beryllium followed by the -ing form or the to +inf form with no effective difference rein meaning. Teich this page (englishpage.net):

Aber welches exakt bedeutet eigentlich „chillen“? Der Begriff wird häufig rein unserer alltäglichen Konversation verwendet, besonders bube jüngeren Generationen. Doch trotz seiner entfernt verbreiteten Verwendung kann die genaue Semantik von „chillen“ manchmal Schleierhaft sein.

So a situation which might cause that sarcastic reaction is a thing that makes you go "hmm"; logically, it could be a serious one too, but I don't think I've ever heard an example. The phrase welches popularized hinein that sarcastic sense by Arsenio Hall, who often uses it more info on his TV show as a theme for an ongoing series of short jokes. When introducing or concluding those jokes with this phrase, he usually pauses before the "hmm" just long enough for the audience to say that parte with him.

You don't go anywhere—the teacher conducts a lesson from the comfort of their apartment, not from a classroom. Would you refer to these one-to-one lessons as classes?
